About us:
We started paddling C2 in 2002, after a couple of years in kayaks, and were very fortunate to start training under the coaching of Michal Staniszewski the silver medal winner from the Sydney Olympic Games. In the Spring of 2005 we attended our first national team selection race and qualified for the Junior National Team, travelled to Europe that summer and competed in the Junior Pre-Worlds championships. Despite a disappointing finish, we realised that this was our first big race and that with further training and honing of our skills we could be a great team and a force to be reckoned with. In 2006, we qualified for the National Development Team, which is one step below full National team. We had another summer of international racing, this time in the senior category, and felt that we had made huge leaps in terms of our abilities and team work. In the summer of 2007 we competed in our first World Cup circuit and World Championships as members of the National Senior Team.

During the past few years we have made huge improvements but there is still work to be done and there are goals yet to be achieved. We continue to train hard in all weathers and are unrelenting in our desire for athletic success and in our quest for Olympic Gold.

We live and train in Ottawa, Ontario. Jamie is 20 years old and is currently a third year student in Geological Science at Carleton University. Adam is 16 and in grade 11 at Nepean High School.
